Who we are
Propeller Design AB (“Propeller”, “we”, “us”), organisation number 556801-5530, Hammarby Kaj 10A, 120 30 Stockholm, Sweden, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For anything about your data, contact us at [email protected].
This policy covers personal data we handle when you visit propellerdesign.com, contact us, apply for a job or internship, or work with us as a client, partner or supplier. When we handle personal data on behalf of a client in a project, the agreement with that client applies instead.
What we collect, why and for how long
When you visit the site
Our hosting providers log technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, the pages you visit and the site you came from. We use it to deliver, secure and improve the site, based on our legitimate interest, and normally keep it for no longer than 12 months.
If you allow statistics or marketing cookies, we also collect how you use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location and device type, and for marketing, the company your network connection belongs to. This is based on your consent. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, and Inzynk data for as long as we use Inzynk for this purpose. See Cookies below.
When you contact us or work with us
We handle the name, contact details, company and role of people who contact us or work at our clients, partners and suppliers, along with our correspondence, agreements and invoicing details. We use it to answer you, deliver our work, manage the relationship and invoice, and to send business contacts occasional news and invitations, which you can opt out of at any time. This is based on our legitimate interest, our contract with your company and our legal obligations.
We keep contact details for as long as we have a reason to stay in touch, and review them every year. If you opt out, we keep a short note of it so we don’t contact you again. Routine emails are reviewed after 6 months. Agreements and project records are kept while they apply and then for as long as we need them for accounting, rights to our work or possible claims. Accounting records, such as invoices, are kept until the end of the seventh year after the year in which the financial year ended, as Swedish law requires.
When you apply for a job or internship
We handle your CV, cover letter, portfolio, contact details, references and our interview notes to assess your application, based on our legitimate interest and steps before a possible employment. If we don’t offer you a position, we keep your application for up to 6 months after the recruitment closes and then delete it, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. If you join us, it becomes part of your employee records.
We may keep data longer if we need it to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Deleted data can remain in our backups until they are overwritten in the normal cycle. Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have weighed our interest against your privacy and concluded that the processing is reasonable. You can ask us how we did that, and you can always object (see Your rights).

Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only when needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions, such as hosting, content management, video, email and office software, and accounting. Analytics and marketing providers only receive data if you allow statistics or marketing cookies.
- Advisers such as lawyers and auditors, and authorities when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold or merged.
Your rights
You have the right to:

- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted, unless we need to keep it, for example for bookkeeping or a legal claim
- have processing restricted while a question about it is resolved
- object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can always object to marketing, and we will then stop
- receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format, where it is processed under consent or contract
- withdraw your consent at any time, through Cookie settings or by contacting us
Send requests to [email protected]. We reply within one month. For complex or numerous requests we may extend this by up to two more months, and we will tell you if we do. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se). We would appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, such as access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption and backups. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that data will never be lost or accessed without authorisation.

The site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
