Since start, Propeller has been the sole design partner for green-tech startup Zparq.

With products and services designed to be sustainable over the whole value chain, and with a circular approach, Zparq's vision is to change marine propulsion as you know it.

Zparq’s electric boat motor is designed on a unique patented ‘open-pod’ technology – a motor completely immersed in water without encapsulation.

With very few moving parts and a small form factor, Zparq’s motor delivers high power for its low volume and cross-sectional area. This design ensures a longer range and lower drag at speed compared to competitors’ solutions.

Zparq's first consumer product is the Z10. Inspired by the traditional rudder and built on the patented open-pod solution, it delivers unmatched power relative to its low weight.

The companion app gives users access to a wide set of extended features, such as custom acceleration curves and theft tracking.

In designing the Zparq graphic profile, we employed semi-technical typography to achieve a contemporary and precise look that remains easily readable. The logo features an electric flash in the negative space, symbolizing energy and innovation while maintaining a sleek, minimalist Z letter silhouette.

No detail in the design has been overlooked. Every design decision stems from the decisive goal of creating the most efficient motor possible.
